Who Are We?
The Minnesota Science Fiction Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the appreciation of science fiction and fantasy literature. Minn-Stf was founded in 1966 and we've been active in the worldwide community of science fiction fandom ever since.

Upcoming Minn-StF Events

If you're new to Minn-StF, you should know that our "meetings" are actually parties. The traditional start time for a Minn-StF meeting is 2pm so assume that start time if a time isn't listed here, but be warned that most people don't show up 'til 4pm or so unless the "meeting" is a picnic or pool party. We encourage people to bring snacks or drinks to share at the meetings, but that's not required and hosts will provide some food and drink. You can find out more about what happens at our meetings parties.

Saturday, March 6th - Minn-StF Meeting/Party postponed until March 13th. Go have fun at MarsCon instead.

Saturday, March 13th - Minn-StF Meeting/Party at Dreampark (home of Sharon Kahn & Richard Tatge, 4002 Pillsbury Ave S, Mpls. No smoking. FFI: 612-827-3228). No smoking, cats. FFI 612-929-2150.) This will be the meeting at which voting for the club's Board of Directors will take place.

Saturday, March 27th - Minn-StF Meeting/Party at the home of Irene & Scott Raun, 3928 11th Ave. S., Minneapolis (Dogs, smoking outside. FFI: sraun@fireopal.org, realitychallenged@fireopal.org, 612-822-0451).

The current issue of Einblatt always has a list of events for the current month (even if we fall behind on updating this website). It also includes other events possibly of interest to Minn-StF members. Short notice events are sometimes posted to the events email list and/or to the mnstf Livejournal community.
