Mike Ford got a new kidney on 20 November. It is known to be working.

Local fan and author Kevin Hancer died suddenly of a heart attack on November 19th. Kevin was the author of three paperback price guides; the first two editions in 1980 and 1982 and the third (Hancer's Price Guide To Paperback Books) in 1990.
