Jody Wurl's father passed away on Sunday, October 30.

The new Nate Bucklin CD, 'Water Over the Bridge', has been finished and is available from Nate and Louie Bucklin for $17. There are 12 never-before recorded songs and a nice sampling of favorites from his earlier tapes. It was produced by Louie and features harmonies by Becca Allen, Howard Ashby Kranz, and Mark Sterling, and instrumental contributions from Chas Somdahl, Jeff Schalles, Gary Schulte, and Max Swanson.

Ruth Berman has a poem in the Fall issue of The South Carolina Review, "Potatoes of the Tree."

The Hallowed Hunt by Lois McMaster Bujold is #4 hardcover bestseller on the November 2005 Locus list.

Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman was #2 hardcover bestseller for Barnes & Noble/B. Dalton and #3 for Borders/Walden per the November 2005 Locus lists; same issue notes that it "debuted at number one on the New York Times and the Publisher's Weekly lists."
