Bram Stoker Awards novel shortlists: From the Dust Returned, Ray Bradbury; American Gods, Neil Gaiman; The Lost, Jack Ketchum; Black House, Stephen King & Peter Straub

Lyda Morehouse’s Archangel Protocol is this year's winner of the Barnes & Noble "Maiden Voyage Award" for science fiction novels debuting in 2001. Her newest novel, Fallen Host, hits the shelves May 7, 2002.

Hugo Award Finalists for Best Novel include The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold (HarperCollins/Eos) and American Gods by Neil Gaiman (Morrow).

Joel Rosenberg resold nine existing novels, including the first seven of his Guardians of the Flame series, to Baen Books.

Neil Gaiman's American Gods was a "best novel" nominee for the 2001 International Horror Guild Award.

Lois McMaster Bujold's Cetaganda is one of ten nominees for "Best Translated Novel" for the (Japanese) Seiun Award
